Virginia National Guard to host Military Ball in February 2020

RICHMOND, Va. — The Virginia National Guard 2020 Military Ball is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. A reception begins at 6 p.m. with the Military Ball formal dinner at 7 p.m. The Military Ball is open to all members of the Virginia Army and Air National Guard, the Virginia Defense Force, Virginia Department of Military Affairs employees, family members or anyone else who is interested in sharing the evening with the Virginia National Guard.

The cost for the ball is $70 per person, but a reduced cost of $60 is available for military personnel in the Army rank of private to sergeant, Air Force rank of airman basic to staff sergeant, Army or Air Force rank of second lieutenant to captain, Army rank of warrant officer 1 and state employees working for the Virginia Department of Military Affairs. 

Registration is available at https://vngmg.org/dma-main/. Lodging is available at a rate of $89 per night, but you have to call the hotel at (804) 379-3800 and ask for the Virginia National Guard rate. The cut off for room reservations is Jan. 28, 2020.

The attire for the evening is Army or Air Force Mess Dress, Army Service Uniform with bow tie, Air Force Semi-Formal Dress Uniform with tie and formal for civilians. The address for the DoubleTree by Hilton is 1021 Koger Center Blvd, Richmond, VA 23235
