Soldiers wanted to volunteer for Road to Twitchcon Esports Tournament

RICHMOND, Va. — The Virginia National Guard is looking for 20 Soldiers to volunteer to participate in the Road to Twitchcon Esports Tournament May 18, 2019, at the DC Armory in Washington, D.C.

The event is hosted by the Army National Guard and Army Entertainment and is open to all active duty Army and Army National Guard Soldiers. The game will be TEKKEN 7. This is a voluntary event, and Soldiers will not be placed on orders and travel/per diem will NOT be provided.

A series of eight tournaments at National Guard and Army garrisons across the country will take place this spring and summer and winners from all eight locations will advance to the final competition at Twitchcon in San Diego, California, in late September.

Those interested should fill out the form and return it to Sgt. 1st Class Terra C. Gatti at terra.c.gatti.mil@mail.mil no later than May 10, 2019.
